The President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda awarded the authors of the best scientific PhD thesis in 2021:The best dissertation in natural, technological, medical, and health and agricultural sciences was awarded dr. Lina Grinevičiūtė, thesis title ” Nanostructured optical coatings for the manipulation of laser radiation” (Vilnius University and the Center for Physical Sciences and Technology, supervisor Dr. Ramutis Drazdys).
Doctoral student Lukas Ramalis has won ,,M J Soileau“ the best student paper award at the International conference “Laser-Induced Damage in Optical Materials 2021”, topic – “Sculptured thin film based all-silica mirrors for high power lasers”.
Doctoral student Lina Grinevičiūtė has won the best stand announcement award at the International Advanced Materials and Technologies conference in Palanga, 2017.
