Integrated Fiber Optics has attracted 1.6 million financing

Laser startup company Integrated Fiber Optics patented new fibre-optic laser technology, attracted EUR 1.6 million financings. It is the second-largest early-stage investment in Lithuania, and only Brolis Semiconductors attracted more investment a few years ago. Lithuanian technology is already known, the company has received many offers to sell or license it, but the founders refused it and decided to develop business from science. The world market for ultrashort pulse lasers is growing at around 25% per year and is already close to $ 10 billion.
