CLEO-Europe conference award to the PhD student of Laser Technology Department.

The selection committee of the prestigious Cleo-Europe conference announced the winners of the Travel Grant Student Award. Among the 5 European finalists, a PhD student from Solid State Laser laboratory Paulius Mackonis was awarded in recognition of his outstanding work in the field of innovative architecture for ultrafast lasers. The developed technology opens up possibilities for the production of compact lasers with TW level of peak power. The laureates will receive a diploma during Plenary Talk and Award Ceremony.
